Castleford are awaiting news on Ben Roberts, Grant Millington and Junior Moors after all three sustained injuries in Friday’s defeat to St Helens.
The withdrawals of Roberts and Moors in particular just before half-time proved costly for the Tigers, who were second-best in the second-half after their departures.
Roberts has suffered a foot injury, while Moors has broken his hand.
As for Millington, who scored the game’s opening try, he hyper-extended his elbow.
“He (Ben Roberts) has done something in his foot,” said head coach Daryl Powell.
“Whether it’s a ligament or a break we’re not sure yet, but obviously he came straight from the field and couldn’t go back on, so he’s got an injury of a magnitude that could keep him out for a while.
“Grant has hyper-extended his elbow. Again, we’re not sure of the severity until he has a scan, so we’ll find out later in the week.
“Junior has a fracture in his hand, I don’t know if it’s a mid-term injury, but it’s not great.”
