Castleford Tigers coach Daryl Powell admits he is looking elsewhere for potential halfbacks, after it was announced star half Marc Sneyd has joined Hull FC for 2015 and beyond.
The Tigers, who are being linked with a move for Bradford’s Luke Gale for the 2015 season, are assessing their options after Salford accepted a bid of around £100,000 for the 23-year-old.
“We’re having a look around the market to see what halfbacks are available out there. That will continue and we’ll see where it takes us,” Powell told this week’s League Express.
“We’ve spoken to a few players, and there should be some news soon.”
