Toronto Wolfpack have signed American-born forward Jerome Veve from Gold Coast Titans.
Veve has spent the last two years with the Titans, but will now link up with Paul Rowley’s League 1 outfit ahead of the new campaign.
“In Jerome we have recruited what we believe to be a rough diamond,” Rowley said
“And at 20 years of age, is a project that can reap massive rewards for himself, and the team if the outcome is what we predict. Our friends in Australia have once again provided us with a future crowd favourite and I’m looking forward to coaching Jerome as much as he is looking forward to ripping in and showing his teeth for the Pack while representing the American flag. We will continue to deliver a local flavor and our current trials across Canada and America is testimony to this. Myself, Brian Noble and Simon Finnigan are very proud and determined to find talent with Canadian/American blood in their veins.”
