Video highlights: Warrington Wolves 42-10 Catalan Dragons

Catalan winger Michael Oldfield almost scored in the 15th minute after great work by Leon Pryce, but he was just pushed into touch by Matty Russell.

Warrington went down to the other end of the pitch, and after good work by Gene Ormsby the ball was moved quickly to the right for Joel Monaghan to open the scoring. Chris Bridge added the goal from the touchline.

And they soon increased their lead with a try by Anthony England after a grubber near the line by Michael Monaghan, with Bridge again converting.

The Wolves then piled on the misery for the Dragons when they scored the try of the match. It began deep in their own half with Chris Hill offloading to Russell, who sped down the right wing before giving a magical flicked pass to Ormsby, who was able to find Joel Monaghan for a spectacular touchdown.

And Stefan Ratchford added to the Dragons’ discomfort with another converted try five minutes before the interval.

Chris Bridge brought up 30 points for the Wolves just one minute into the second half, converting his own try. Mickey Higham and James Laithwaite then added further converted tries before Vincent Duport finally managed to open the Dragons’ account in the left corner after 65 minutes and William Barthau added the goal from the touchline.

With less than two minutes remaining Morgan Escaré followed up his own kick into the in-goal, with Barthau missing the conversion.
