VOTE: Should Super League adopt bonus points next season?

RFL Chief Operating Officer Ralph Rimmer admitted to this week’s League Express that Super League clubs have mixed views on whether or not to introduce a bonus points system into the competition next season, after it was revealed last week that there has been no decision made on which system will be used from 2015.

With greater integration between Super League and the Championship being essential for next season, there is pressure for Super League clubs to use the same bonus system that the Championships clubs have operated in recent seasons, which involves receiving a losing bonus point for a margin of 12 points or less in a game.

Rimmer told League Express that although some clubs are keen on the idea, others prefer a more traditional approach, with a desire to incorporate the current Super League points system across all three divisions in 2015.
