Warrington announce trio of friendlies

Warrington Wolves have confirmed their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2015 season, with three friendlies taking place in January to prepare them for the forthcoming campaign.

The trio of games, which will all be played at the club’s Halliwell Jones Stadium, will see them face two Super League sides, as well as French outfit Toulouse as part of a unique double-header in January.

The traditional festive game against Widnes will take place just after Christmas, with the local rivals locking horns at 3pm on Sunday, December 28.

The Wolves will then not play again until Sunday, January 25, when they play two games in one day. First, they will face Toulouse in a 1pm kick-off, before later that afternoon tackling Chris Chester’s Hull KR.

That match is Chris Bridge’s testimonial match, and will start at 3:30pm the same afternoon.
