It would rank as one of the most shocking signings of the off-season so far: reports in Australia have emerged suggesting that Widnes captain Kevin Brown is set for a sensational switch to Warrington Wolves.
TotalRL understands that Brown’s name was on a list of several targets identified by the Wolves last week following the departure of Chris Sandow, after he failed to return for pre-season training.
And now Australian media has suggested on social media that Warrington are set to sign the half-back for 2017:

League Express revealed on Monday that the Wolves had tenatively enquired about the services of Jacob Miller, but Wakefield knocked back the interest before Warrington made a formal bid.
However, it seems they have now set their sights on Brown in a sensational swoop.
