LEEDS RHINOS prop Tom Holroyd will automatically appear at an independent Operational Rules Tribunal on March 4 having been charged with Grade E Dangerous Contact in Sunday’s game against Castleford Tigers.
The incident at the time went unpunished by referee Marcus Griffiths and video referee Tom Grant, with Castleford’s Joe Westerman taking exception to Holroyd’s contact on his teammate George Hill.
Hill and Holroyd were locked in a tackle after the former brought the latter to the ground. However, Hill’s arm appeared to have been trapped, with the Tigers man in obvious pain when the two players separated.
Here is the incident in question:
He knew what he was doing and should be a 🟥 card. Could have seriously hurt him.#slleecas pic.twitter.com/kFk7t598v9

Grade E offences result in an immediate referral to an Operational Rules Tribunal, with a tariff to begin at a six-match suspension – although the points penalty will be determined by the Tribunal.
