Wayne’s world sees bookies cut England for glory

England’s odds of winning this year’s Four Nations series have been cut by Ladbrokes.

After Wayne Bennett was appointed as the new head coach, the bookies have reacted and now make it a 4/1 shot that England are victorious later on this year while odds on England winning the World Cup have dropped to 7/1.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “We expect England to be a much better side under Bennett and the odds have been trimmed accordingly. The job might have come a little late in his career, but as a veteran of the game and with the World Cup on his home turf his young squad should go well.”
