Hull KR’s chief James Webster wants his side to build on a good week in training when they face Castleford on Sunday.
Following an embarrassing defeat in the Challenge Cup to Oldham, KR put a media ban on players to put their focus on the upcoming game.
With the chance to move above Leeds ahead of them, Webster stressed the importance of putting on a good display.
“The players have responded well and we’ve trained well but we understand that training is only a small element of the game and we need to go out and transform how we’ve trained during the week into a good performance on the weekend,” Webster said.
“We need to go out there and play well for lots of reasons – for ourselves, for the fans and for the competition ladder, we need to pick up points quickly.
