Whitehaven have completed a double swoop by signing Andrew Dawson and Dean Zammit.
The duo joins Gary Charlton’s squad for the 2021 season and add firepower to the club’s pack.
Both props, 31-year-old Dawson joins from Workington while Zammitt arrives having most recently played for Wigan St Patricks.
Zammit, a Maltese international, came through the Penrith Panthers junior system before moving to the UK earlier this year.
Dawson said: I’m delighted to have signed for Whitehaven and I’m looking forward to playing in the Championship again.
“It is something that I have always wanted to do and I’m grateful to Whitehaven for giving me the opportunity again.”
Zammit added: “I just wanted to experience something different. It’s a different type of game over here. I’ve had a go in France before but really fancied giving the English game a go. I can’t wait to get going, get ripped into pre-season and meet all the lads.”
