WHITEHAVEN trialist Harley Nelson is determined to show what he can do – if he can get back to full fitness.
Nelson is one of five players from local amateur clubs given an opportunity by coach Anthony Murray.
However the Kells outside back is currently nursing a knee issue.
“I’ve been enjoying my time at the club so far and getting to know the lads,” he said.
“My knee has been coming along quite well, I’ve been going with the physio a number of times and he has given me exercises to do, which have helped.
“I am slowly getting better and if my knee gets back to normal and I get back to full training, hopefully I will get a bit of time on the pitch.”
