Wolves hammer ill-disciplined Wolfpack

Warrington eased into the Challenge Cup quarter-final after dismantling ill-disciplined Toronto 66-10.

The Wolfpack had Andrew Dixon sent off and three others sent to the sin-bin which ultimately saw them torn to pieces by the Wolves.

Paul Rowley’s side had gone 10-0 up after tries through Adam Higson and Liam Kay and were arguably the better side in the first 40 minutes.

However, Warrington were ahead at half-time. Mike Cooper hit back for the hosts and after Kay was yellow carded for a spear tackle and Dixon red-carded for a punch on Harvey Livett, Josh Charnley gave Wire the lead.

The second-half was one way traffic. Harvey Livett, Ben Murdoch-Masila (2), Ben Hughes, Ben Westwood, Tom Lineham, Tyrone Roberts and Charnley ensured the game ended as a rout, with Toronto having Josh McCrone and Darcy Lussick sin-binned for dissent.
