WORKINGTON TOWN have paid tribute to former chairman Geoff Tubman following his death aged 71.
“Everyone at Town is saddened,” said the club in a statement.
“There are names that are synonymous with the club and Geoff is part of that special group of people.
“He was Town through and through and gave so much to our beloved club. Our thoughts and love are with his family and friends.”
Tubman was on the board between December 1997 and January 2005.
