Callum Taylor has become Thunder Head Coach Kevin Neighbour's latest signing for the 2013 season.

The 20 year old prop was part of the Hull KR academy set up for the past two seasons after signing from his junior club Hull Isberg.

Neighbour said of his latest signing:

"This is another great signing for us as Callum is a highly rated prop forward with a lot of experience already under his belt."

"Callum is a quick, mobile prop forward who has a great ability to win the collision."

"He has had several offers from other clubs but we have been in discussions now for a while and we are both very happy with the deal."

Taylor who recently travelled with the Robins Academy on their tour of Australia at the beginning of 2012, said of his signing:

"I'm both delighted and excited to have signed for Thunder for next season."

"I like where the club is going, the signings we are making and how we look to be shaping up for 2013."

All these signings are great for Thunder on the park. I hope they have the finances to pay for them . If they have it all under control, I apologise, and kudos to their ambition.
