Strictly speaking standing should not be allowed next to the boundary fence and we have allowed that to enhance the spectator's enjoyment of the game. However it is not a load bearing fence (neither was the wooden one) and hasn't the same strength as a crush barrier. We are coming under increased pressure to make the area a spectator free area and over the next couple of weeks or so it will be marked with yellow hatching as a "keep clear walkway". We will try to work with supporters as this change arises but it is a Local Authority Licensing Regulation what we are now under pressure to impose as a part of the Ground Safety Certificate that they issue to us and Ground Safety Stewards will have to enforce that regulation albeit it is something that has happened for many years but came to the surface again when new terrace and fencing was built.

There was no report made to any club official of any racial abuse towards a player and if we had been made aware of this we would have treated this with the severity that any form of racial abuse warrants.

The stadium is not a no smoking stadium and smoking is allowed in the stands since the ends are not fully enclosed and therefore it is not classed as an enclosed area.

Radio Leeds weren't present at the game. Radio Cumbria were the only ones there.

We would like to officially confirm that Sunday's game with Doncaster has been postponed. While the pitch is currently playable it is very soft indeed and with further rain forecast over the next two days it is likely to be waterlogged. Both clubs therefore agreed to make the early decision to call the game off. Because it is a warm up fixture it will not be re-arranged.

We are trying to set up a new fixture for next weekend and further details will be announced in due course.
