  2. G'Day Guys, I'm in Paris next weekend and need somewhere to watch Cronulla crash and burn out of the NRL finals. Anyone got any good suggestions? We are staying about 15-20 minutes walk south of Gare du Nord and the match kicks off at 8.10am Paris time. Failing that, does anyone know if Premier Sports TV would work online in France, as I've got a UK subscription? Or would it be blocked?
  3. Some of you may remember the successful Bull Tag competition which ran at Odsal in the early part of this Century or have been involved in the RFL's Tag Rugby League series, well weekly Tag Rugby League is returning to West Yorkshire with five new leagues kicking off from the week of April 27th. The RFL's Tag Rugby League partner Try Tag Rugby are running leagues in Oulton (nearest league for Cas), Morley & Birstall, Leeds North (Lawnswood & Adel), Leeds (Kirkstall & Headingly) and Bradford & Bingley. Leagues are open for registration at mixed, men's and ladies levels. In just 5 years of existence, London based Try Tag Rugby have grown to a point where over 360 teams will compete weekly in London, the Thames Valley and Yorkshire this summer. With Try Tag Rugby players now officially counted as Rugby League participants, Tag Rugby League is now easily the most played form of Rugby League in the capital! http://www.loverugbyleague.com/news_17390-try-tag-rugby-confirm-uk-expansion-plans.html http://www.therfl.co.uk/news/article/31137/try-tag-rugby-and-rfl For further information visit http://www.trytagrugby.com/locations/yorkshire-home/leagues/
  4. The RFL's Tag Rugby League partner Try Tag Rugby have announced their plans for West Yorkshire leagues starting in late April. There are five new venues announced for West Yorkshire, with mixed, men's and ladies leagues to run. Free taster sessions are running over the next few weeks. In just 5 years of existence Try Tag Rugby have grown to a point where 250 teams competed weekly in London and the Thames Valley last summer. With Try Tag Rugby players now counted as Rugby League participants, Tag Rugby League is now easily the most played form of Rugby League in the capital! http://www.loverugbyleague.com/news_17390-try-tag-rugby-confirm-uk-expansion-plans.html http://www.therfl.co.uk/news/article/31137/try-tag-rugby-and-rfl
  5. Try Tag Rugby has made it third time lucky, taking out their first ever London RL 9's title. After falling at the last hurdle to Hammersmith Hillshoists at the previous two attempts, the team made up from London Tag Rugby community defeated a strong London Skolars outfit 16-10 in the final. Skolars featuring a number of their semi-professional first team squad, proved no match for a Try Tag squad featuring the experience of Andrew Le Bretton (3 NRL games for the Roosters), Matt Ashe (brother of St Helens Nathan Ashe) and Phill Browne (1 test for Fiji RL). http://www.australiantimes.co.uk/sport/tag-rugby-london/try-tag-rugby-all-stars-win-london-rugby-league-9s.htm Not sure what this says for the standard of London RL that a team that had only trained together 4 times and doesn't play in a week to week RL comp could win the 9's comp? But I certainly enjoyed seeing them take it out!
  6. I'm heading up to Manchester so won't be able to make it. Have a good one guys!

  10. I thought Patten played well when the Dogs were on Premier Sports the other week. He still looks a classy player.
  11. Hoffman is class, Finch is decent but can be frustrating. Lima is a journey man, so it wouldn't surprise me if he struggled.
