Eagles announce Challenge Cup Promotional Day

Sheffield Eagles are pleased to announce a massive promotional day this Saturday at various locations in the City promoting the Eagles huge Challenge Cup Quarter Final with the London Broncos.
The match takes place next Friday at Don Valley Stadium, kick off 8.00pm and the Eagles are looking for the biggest crowd at Don Valley since our Super League days as the Eagles look to make it to the semi-finals for the first time since the Eagles famously won the Challenge Cup in 1998 and give the Stadium the send of it deserves with its closure later this year.
First stop for the Eagles in Cineworld at Centretainment at 9.30 where over 800 children are anticipated to be in attendance, along with friends and family for the Saturday morning £1 film.
With all Under 16’s gaining FREE entry to the game if they sign up for a FREE Season Ticket, we will be encouraging all U16’s present to sign up for a season ticket and promoting and selling our greatly reduced tickets to their parents.
After this, the Eagles will be off to Tesco Extra on Savile Street (S4 7UD) from 12.00pm to 1.30pm, again promoting and selling tickets for the Broncos clash, Saturday afternoon is the busiest period of the week at the store in what will sure great awareness for the club.
Following on, it’s straight over to the English Institute of Sport as members of the Eagles first team take on the Sheffield Stormers Women’s netball team in a netball match at 3.00pm.
The match is to help raise funds for the Stormers and with the girls winning the first match between the two sides last year, the Eagles will be out for revenge!
Tickets are just £3.00 for Adults and £1.50 for Under 16’s and with a good crowd expected, including the large number of Stormers Juniors and the general public at EIS on Saturday it will be another excellent opportunity to promote the huge clash.
The day ends at Andrew Henderson’s Testimonial Dinner taking place at the Platinum Suite at Bramall Lane from 7.00pm ensuring all in attendance having tickets to the game!
Finally, throughout the weekend, McDonalds on Meadowhall Retail Park will kindly be promoting the game to their customers throughout the day, handing out flyers to all their drive-thru customers and displaying the flyers and posters in store too.
Get along to any of these events if you can and help support the Eagles, with the advance ticket prices of just £8 for Adults, £5 for Over 60s and £3 for Under 16’s and Students due to end at midnight on Sunday (7th July), the day is a perfect opportunity to snap up some last minute tickets!
