  1. Greetings to our rugby league friends Every week of the season fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column. Overall, the performance against Widnes was much better than the one against Bradford a fortnight ago. We then consider the difference between watching matches live in the stadium and doing so on television. We question whether the loan and DR system is getting out of hand. Is it in the best interest of developing young players? Access the article by using the link below and then by using the links on the top left-hand side of the page (by clicking on ‘Archive’) you can find all sorts of information including previous ‘fevnut’s musings’ articles. https://bit.ly/49YZVn8
  2. fevnut's musings 2024/#13: Widnes, Watch live or on TV and Loans and DR going mad Every week of the season fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column. 4. In 2018 he didn't go on loan to Leeds, they signed him and hence he could return on DR
  5. According to my records, in 2019 Luke was actually a Leeds registered player. Here are my notes about the very complex series of moves between Leeds and Fev.
  6. From the Hull KR website: "Hull KR are excited to confirm exciting utility back, Jack Broadbent has joined the club from Castleford Tigers on a season-long loan with immediate effect while Corey Hall and Louis Senior have in-turn joined Castleford on loan for the remainder of 2024." So, I don't think you can take a loan player on dual reg. It's a funny one. As he will be a Hull KR signed player in 2025 then why is he on loan there now rather than a straight transfer? Very confusing!
  7. We have constructed charts showing the top 20 Championship players in a variety of categories. In order to make it easy to find your own club’s players we have colour coded the players. Access the information by clicking on the link below. You might like to look at other posting's in fevnut's blog. To do this click on 'Archive' near the top left of the page which will take you to the links. https://fevnut.blogspot.com/2024/04/leading-scorers-championship-2024.html
  8. The RFL Match Centre version of the squad is now confirmed on the Widnes official twitter page. See the full squads set out in possible line-up by clicking on this link. https://bit.ly/4aZP25B
  9. We have constructed charts showing the top 20 Championship players in a variety of categories. It was originally devised for Featherstone supporters so Fev players are colour coded in white on Navy background and Fev’s next opponents in a red font. 10. "How will that affect" team spirit?" I suspect much less than most would expect. Many of them would have done the same if offered a big pay rise with which to support their families. They are professional players not fans. Very, very different.
  11. Greetings to our rugby league friends Every week of the season fevnut writes a blog that includes his ‘musings’ column. It’s written primarily for Fev fans, of course, but we have found that many others have been interested to read what we have to say about rugby league in general. Another loss last week, but it felt very different from the two previous ones. Big cause for concern. The partnership between the RFL and IMG is a huge cause for concern and seems to be putting the entire future of our sport in peril. We end this week’s piece with an example of ridiculous information on rugby league websites and on a positive note, some good news coming from the RFL match officials department. Access the article by using the link below and then by using the links on the top left-hand side of the page (by clicking on ‘Archive’) you can find all sorts of information including previous ‘fevnut’s musings’ articles. https://bit.ly/3PZGDa2
