Bailey enjoying link-up with Weyman and Walker

New Hull KR man Ryan Bailey says he’s enjoying linking up with his new teammates – especially props Adam Walker and Mick Weyman, whom he believes he can form an excellent partnership with in 2015.

Bailey has left Leeds Rhinos to link up with Chris Chester’s men for the forthcoming season, and he says that he’s enjoying being on board at the Robins already, and is hopeful he’ll be able to become part of what could be a destructive forwards unit in 2015.

“I want to form a good combo with the likes of Mick and Adam, and it’s been good so far,” Bailey told the Hull Daily Mail.

“They’ve got good hands and can do long minutes and that’s what we’ll need this season. Players need to do long minutes in the forwards.

“I’m looking forward to playing with Mick and Adam and I’ve been working hard with them for the past few weeks. Adam travels with me in the car and I think we’ll be tight and do well this year.

“It’s a bit of a fresh combination, but we are gelling well as a team. I’ve been here a couple of weeks now and they seem to be a good set of lads. We’ve got some exciting players from what I’ve seen so far.”
