Batley have confirmed that Brad Day and Alastair Leak have signed new two-year deals with the club.
The news comes as a timely boost for the club in their chase for a top-four spot, with the Bulldogs currently occupying fourth place, a point ahead of Bradford.
Day recently returned from injury, featuring in the club’s last three outings following a near two-month layoff. He has made eight appearances overall this year, scoring one try.
Meanwhile, hooker Leak has been in fantastic form this season, scoring six tries in 15 appearances, making a real difference for John Kear’s side off the bench.
Batley’s next match in their race for the top four is this Saturday as they make the tough trip up to Whitehaven.
