Bradford Bulls have announced the re-signing of 19-year-old academy product Sam Wood, who penned a three-year-deal.
Wood made three Super League appearances in 2013 and has agreed to a contract that ties him to the Bulls until the end of the 2016 season.
The young three-quarter made a try-scoring debut for Bradford in their big win over Rochdale in the Challenge Cup, before playing in Super League defeats to Wigan and London, and the 58-6 victory over a youthful Huddersfield side in the final weekly round.
“I am absolutely thrilled to have been offered a new contract to stay at Bradford,” said Wood, who turns 20 next month.
“This is the club I want to be at and so there was zero hesitation when it came to me re-signing.”
