Castleford Tigers have announced the appointment of Paul Howell as club chaplain.
A pastor at Christchurch at nearby Xscape, Paul’s role will involve building relationships and offering spiritual support to help those associated with the club through ‘the challenges of life’.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of being Club Chaplain to Castleford Tigers,” said Howell/.
“I will be able to offer pastoral and spiritual support to players, staff and supporters of the club.”
Tigers’ Player Welfare Manager Steve Ball said: “Paul can be a valuable independent listening ear to help members of our sporting organisation and fans through life’s challenges.”
