Whitehaven RLFC have signed former head coach Carl Forster on playing terms for the rest of the season.
Forster was without a club after being sacked by Rochdale, where he had joined from Whitehaven after leaving his role as coach at the end of last season.
However, he is now back with the League 1 club to bolster their pack for the rest of their League 1 campaign.
Haven head coach Gary Charlton said: “We’re pleased to have him on board, he will bring size and experience to the team and he’s just the sort of player we have been looking for to complement our other front rowers. Carl is well thought of up here and will fit in without any problems”.
