CASTLEFORD TIGERS are to host a game between a Joe Westerman Legends side and a Talk Your Walk Foundation Polynesian Legends team on Saturday (July 26, 2.00pm).
Players set to feature for Westerman include Wayne Godwin, Graham Steadman, Danny Brough, Sean Richardson, Paul Jackson, Darren Rogers, Lee Trigg, Andrew Henderson, Steve Snitch, Nathan Massey, Scott Murrell, Gareth Widdop and Jamie Thackeray.
Former Castleford ace Denny Solomona is among a TYW side which could also include Bayley Liu, Robbie Hunter-Paul, Menzie Yere, Fuifui Moimoi, Junior Sau, Mark Ioane, Misi Taulapapa, Sam Tuitupou, Krisnan Inu, Iafeta Paleaaesina and the side’s founders Quentin Laulu Togaga’e and Suaia Matagi. Pauli Pauli and Jorge Taufua have also been pencilled in.
Admission is £10 (juniors £5) while family tickets are available online via Castleford Tigers.
Food and drink will be available and other entertainment includes a bouncy castle and music.
All money raised will be passed to Joe Westerman’s Testimonial fund and the TYW Foundation (to be able to take their mindset workshops into schools, to inspire hope and real changes in deprived communities).
