DEWSBURY RAMS coach Paul March is looking for better discipline from his side when they return to league action at Goole on Sunday.
A high penalty count proved costly in the opening league game against North Wales Crusaders, with the Rams losing 20-10.
“Twelve penalties in the second half was just not good enough,” said March, who did see an improvement in that area of the game in Saturday’s 26-16 1895 Cup first-round defeat at London Broncos.
“When you’re defending for long periods, you don’t have much energy and it took us until the last ten minutes of the North Wales game to start throwing the ball around and play how we wanted to.
“The penalty count was concerning, and if we can’t fix that I’ll have to make some changes.”
