Bradford Bulls captain Matt Diskin insists he is keen to remain at the club next season – regardless of whether the Bulls survive or are relegated to the Championship.
However, Diskin admits he is unsure over whether he will continue playing next year, but did confirm to the Telegraph and Argus that he could stay on in a coaching capacity under new boss James Lowes.
“There is no decision yet about whether I will play on next season,” Diskin said.
“I need to sit down with Jimmy and the management to see what their thoughts are and see where I am myself physically and mentally.I will then sit down with my family and make a decision from there, which will come around July or August.
“I want to stay involved and help other people to do the best they can in their careers. Hopefully that can be at Bradford but you never know.I would like to stay here in some capacity but that’s not choice or my decision – it’s for the hierarchy to decide.”
