
JAK CONWAY raced over for four tries as EGREMONT RANGERS, of the National Conference League First Division, beat Division Two outfit HENSINGHAM 44-24 in the Jackie Davidson Memorial Trophy game.
Rangers, who were 16-0 ahead on 18 minutes, also posted two tries and a goal by Kye Beckett, with Paul Corkhill and, towards the end, Kieran Glenn also dotting down. Matt Bewsher landed five goals.
The Hens counted through a try and three goals by Adam Williamson and touchdowns for Reuben Butterworth, Miller Dalton and Luca Hiddlestone (Dylan Bragg improving one score).
KELLS, of the National Conference League First Division, recovered from 6-4 down midway through the first half to beat Cumbrian neighbours ELLENBOROUGH RANGERS, of Division Two, 34-12.
Lewis Smith, Ashton Sice (twice), Ross Gainford, Oscar Cooke and Sam Murtagh crossed for the Miners, with Gainford landing the goals.
Elbra, who had led through a Zac Olstrum try, were limited thereafter to a consolation score by Ryan Wilson, with Brett Stevenson adding his second conversion.
MILFORD, of the NCL Third Division, were level at Division Two outfit DEWSBURY CELTIC with ten minutes left.
Celtic, though, posted late tries by Lewis Teale and Oliver Thornton, with Jordan Hirst improving both efforts, to prevail 20-8.
