EX-ST Helens hero Paul Sculthorpe believes that some Super League players “are far from good enough” after tuning in to Friday night’s Sky Sports offering.
It is unclear which of the two live Sky games that Sculthorpe was referring to – as Leigh Leopards hosted Catalans Dragons and Hull FC made the trip to Huddersfield Giants – but it’s fair to say that the former England and Great Britain legend was far from impressed with what was on show.
At half-time of either of the two games, Sculthorpe took to social media to announce his displeasure with what he had been witnessing up until that point.
Sculthorpe posted on X: “We seriously need to develop more better players in Super League….some are far from good enough….”
