Think both union clubs were in the second tier for a spell too.
Presume the union club is struggling financially like the other ones.
Can we not implement a proper persons owner test and stop union entities buying RL clubs ?
Exact same thing happed in Leeds, but the other way around.

Kirmo has retired. He was on the Super League retirement montage the other night. I can't see Price being kept on.

Something must have happened at Rovers because from what I saw, he was a very talented winger, was even talking about representing Nigeria through heritage.
He was on loan at York in 2020 and although it was only 4 or 5 games before covid struck, he was absolute pony.
It really is quite remarkable how much (I assume) he has improved.

Send both London and Toulouse up. Ringfence them and Catalans. Get a French TV deal. Give Trinity a reprieve. Have a 20 team 26 game Championship with an NRL style draw, with fixtures based on league placings, and IMG criteria based P&R.

I'm absolutely gutted to hear about this. Magic Weekends, RLWC games, the NE academy pathways. All that hard work for nothing. Rugby League is in a tough spot, League 1 is surely not sustainable now.

Its a shame both can't go up. Either club is a fantastic (hopefully long term) addition to Super League. I'll be happy at full time either way.

I also saw Blossoms at Emirates Old Trafford and they were also great on a big stage, in my opinion.

I would agree with that mate yeah. Two sell outs in the RLWC last year and 4.5k yesterday shows the potential for big RL crowds is possible for big games

I'd say it is....maybe not as hot a heartland town as say Wakefield but there is plenty of presence in the town and always has been
'Heartland Expansion' was our whole angle when we bid for a place in 2021 haha...

It certainly wasn't 55m wide a couple of years back, and Bradford did get special dispensation at that time, but I think I have read claims that it was widened to 55m by the end of 2021.It's kind of beside the point though. 68m is the preferred width, and having a 55m-wide pitch has a major negative effect on the overall game play. I'd have less of an issue with the fact that the pitch is also much shorter than the preferred length as that does'nt have such a big issue on the flow of the game , but an ultra-narrow pitch really changes the whole nature of the game and makes it much less open.
Aye, and the 3m in goal areas...
