Landed in LA on Sunday evening, travelling around and will get to Vegas on game day. If you see someone at the stadium wearing a grey/black Wigan polo shirt, stop me and say hello.
I'll be the bloke in the wheelchair wearing Brad Thorn's 1996 Super League era Brisbane jersey... or a York Knights hoodie!

I fly out Thursday afternoon... can't wait!

Only 1 or 2 of those names are ex-academy / scholarship from previous seasons. It's those players that I am refering to. They are neither in your list or any of the teams that Thunder have put out. It looks like 3 years of academy output are nonexistent.
Are you even looking?

I mean it’s not even a real image. It’s AI.
No it wasn't. It was a real advert taken out in Times Square. Those 3D LED boards are incredible these days.

If SL games are potentially to be played there, then maybe sensible to have SL in East USA to complement the current NRL West USA approach.
Somewhere like Toronto would be a good start...

I couldn't care less where the referee comes from.

That is my exact point...thank you for summarizing it so accurately.
They might be able to do that around the world, but they won't be allowed to do that on UK broadcasts. Its against Ofcom regulations.

I just presumed from the posters that it was meant to be York but then it turns out that it is Bradford that will be the top spenders in the division next season as more and more comes out about the guy who has been pumping money in to them.
This is very weird, but it sounds like two clubs are rumoured to be taken over by the same bloke!
Obviously that won't happen so I guess we'll find out who soon enough...

Nothing will get done until a proper union is formed which - crucially - everyone buys into.
History suggests that this is unlikely to happen anytime soon, but I hope I'm wrong and the players find their deserved voice.

O do tell Gav. Or have you started working for SeriousaboutRugbyleague.com lol
I am personally very offended by that!
I won't mention which club or the prospective new owner on here publicly as I wouldn't want to scupper the deal if it isn't complete yet (it might be for all I know).

sky won't stop showing scores the whole point of showing all the games is to drive viewing figures down so they can drop the price they pay on the next deal.
This is absolute nonsense.

Wouldn't it be good if some of the bigger clubs allowed Newcastle the free use of few of there fringe players that need game time.
It would be nice to see the rugby community helping Newcastle find there feet, it's great to see them develop there own academy players.
A team established in the North East will be great for our sport and expanding the profile of the game, good luck guys
I heard last week that York are sending 4 lads on loan to Thunder in time for the L1 season. Not sure how accurate that is or which players, but if its true its win win for both clubs IMO.

Is SL+?

Oldham will recruit the players they need to win the championship next season.
If what I'm hearing is true, they won't be the only club with potential spending power in the Championship next year...

I mean, they are spoilers. You can't just declare that they aren't and that makes it true. Spoilers are a real thing.
Spoiler alerts have been around for decades.
Google have used tech to avoid sports spoilers, and BT sports app had a feature.
It may not be an issue to you, but it's weird to claim giving scores for a game that you aren't watching isn't a potential spoiler.
Indeed, Watch NRL can manage it (bottom right of this image). Its not hard...

Do we have to go along with people pretending they wouldn't know the score at all but for Sky providing updates for their general audience - the audience that massively outnumbers the one that will be watching games on catch-up or repeat?
I've had a few years practice with WatchNRL to be fair...

I have some mapping software that shows the pitch to be 90m in length!
So only need to drop the Railway end back 10m.
Happy days.
Does that take into account the in-goal areas and mandatory 3m safety run-offs?

No. It's one of those "why would a fan of a different team post on another clubs forum, they must be trolling" posts?
This is a very weird take.

Absolutely spot on, as I said earlier, it’s a small but vociferous group of their fans on Siddal’s facebook page whinging about seats and disabled access.
they’re showing their club up with their wining
Asking about disabled access isn't whinging.
