Like the new logo but this is the second main sponsor the Titans have had that looks....well very super league-esque. coloured boxing around writing has never and will never look good - unless somehow incorporated into the jersey design (I'm thinking Paramatta with ALAND). As I say, these examples are frequent in SL but I always thought/hoped the NRL were pretty stringent on this kind of thing.

The nib Newcastle Knights send their regards... 😅

For over 20 years, no.Nobody can be that unlucky and i maintain they are doing what they are doing at the moment is that they have heard rumours of a new criteria for Super League and are trying to buy time.

York's stadium saga lasted a good 20 years, but we got there in the end. These things need a lot of luck with timing.

I supported Wakefield's application on the WMDC planning portal anyway, every little helps.

Do Latchford Albion still have an open age side, I used to play for the U16s and I trained with the open age when I was a lad.

So thats where the weird guy in the green suit came from! ?

(I was bored and had a look for the earliest thread on here... I was in my first year at Uni when this thread was last active - I'm 32 now!)

so a sports reporter is suddenly a marketing expert.  His closing lines personify the negativity we have been talking about. Whatever the RFL has done, it should have done something else instead.

I also like how he moaned about the good ticket sales only being in small venues, then moaned about taking games to large venues like Cardiff and Wembley as it will be too expensive for northern fans. Good that.

"Apparently sales for the semi-final double-header at Wembley and the Cardiff tournament opener aren’t going anything like as well and that’s something which needs to be addressed."

Could he not be bothered to ask Martin Johnson what the actual figures were?

  6. Sure, not everything is right, in some cases far from it, but Jeez, its nowhere near as bad as as the naysayers like to make out.

    Absolutely.

I've said it for years, Its always either the best game in the word ever, or its dying and a farce and a joke.

Why can't there be a middle ground for once? Because thats where the game really is.

Having said that, don't take me seriously, I'm just an RFL sock puppet...
