Orange TV don't screen the Toulouse games any more so you won't be able to watch it online, but you can get French commentary on the 'net somewhere apparently - best advice is to just listen to the crowds reaction to have an idea as to what's going on!
-
always honest matt
you clearly wernt the bloke prodding my shoulder (while i was stood at the trough taking a pee by the way) saying we were cheating because one man couldnt hold up another haha bless him
Definitely not me!
Think we have our fair share of moaners and bampots at Leyth, saw two women at the end of the game having a right barney to each other about Hicks, but he was just as bad for either side. I'm just happy that he isn't anything to do with our game at Whitehaven, as bar our game against the Smogs last week he has either been reffing or running the line in the past 6 RL games I've seen in the flesh!
-
Not a good thing for the rest of the sides in this league, Webster has been bobbins all season and now Widnes will have a huge chunk of the salary cap available for a replacement.
-
lol we must have been heard, we got the f off back to yorkshire chant
Aye, you did to be fair. You got a great view of Hardman's game saver anyroad!
Would have been completely undeserved had we scored from that kick and gone on to win it, by the way.
-
Also what happened to everyone standing behind the sticks??? there was only 8 of us, hope we were seen, we even outsung the leigh fans at one point once everyone had gone home
Typo fixed
Only kidding, very impressive support from Fev tonight, our lot were far too nervous to make too much of a racket I reckon. Shame really as the crowd have really got behind the lads when they've needed it during this season.
-
Just a quick note to wish you well done on your result and performance tonight, as I mentioned when bumping in to the Blue Lagoon lot when they were getting on the coach.
As well drilled a side as I've seen in a long time, you pinpointed plenty of our weaknesses and did all you could to exploit them, particularly out wide.
Think from our point of view it was one game too many after playing Bradford and Widnes in the past ten days, and you could see how knackered our lads were with their lack of invention in front of the line, but take nowt away from your lads as they tackled like demons throughout and were much smarter with the ball, so many congratulations and keep that top spot warm for us
Also, at the risk of causing carnage on the Widnes forum, you brought more over tonight than the Smogs did last week, and made more noise as well. Should make for a great atmosphere at POR later in the season.

as for singing just look at the you tube clip of your fans at Bradford and ours at Warrington, sorry your not in our league never were and never will be in the fans department
Pretty unfair comparison when you consider the atmosphere at Odsal is like the moon at the best of times - if we had a roof over our heads like you did at Wire then I think it's fair to say we'd be just as loud, plus we get extra points for not needing a drum to get people singing
-
We will outsing them if nothing else!
Good luck with that one
hope we turn them over, i still get nightmares about that game when they hammered us at home. It is probably the best performace i have ever seen from a visiting team at fevWould that be the one in 2004? At least you gave us a bit of a game in the second half
I'll be out for a few beers in mid-afternoon to make sure the vocal chords are in full working order, safe trip over folks.

'Fax were unrecognisable today from the one I'd seen on three other occasions this year (against Sheffield, Leyth & Swinton), a real statement of support from the players for Calland, I'd say.
-
looks like there just looking for an advantage over us, seems quite fair to me to play it on the tuesday, they get 4 days rest from the widnes game we get 3 days rest before we go to toulouse. they were expecting us to go to toulouse after 2 days rest so why couldnt they play us on the sunday giving them 2 days rest from the widnes game.
The RFL wanted us to play after 26 hours on a coach in Limoux, and against Batley less than 24 hours after getting off the plane from Toulouse (Toulouse away and Batley at home being traditional 'holiday derby' fixtures, of course!), so I think we do have a point! That said, I can't see the problem with the Tuesday as it least it gives us more rest ahead of going to Whitehaven next weekend. Swings and roundabouts and all that.
-
I did want Widnes to win naturally
After the support I gave to Fev when you played the Smogs? Terrible!!
Will be at 'Fax on Sunday and hope that they do us both a favour, but I think 'Fax and Widnes realistically have to start putting a string of wins together if they're going to have a chance of keeping in touch with the top three.
Fantastic to have virtually half a dozen Grand Final contenders, while there's always a chance that Batley or Sheffield might sneak in to the play-offs.
-
Close Robbie Paul down and win the game, simple!
Not at all, in fact Robbie virtually took a step aside last night to give Riddy a chance to run the show, and he grabbed it with both hands (and feet!).
-
Just wished it was being played on a sunday!
So does our accountant!
We've had a stroke of luck with 'Fax getting booted out of the cup or they'd have been a midweek game for us as well.
I did well with my predictions last night so I've officially retired from them now

I reckon Turley should have got it

Not sure about concessions but it's

The first time I've ever watched a championship game on Sky. Leigh were outstanding in the first 30 minutes and we should accept that as true rugby league fans. However, if you watched the attacks building up, they used Paul to hold the ball and as the next player in attack came forward, Paul would delay his pass for a split second allowing the player to overun and carry on without the ball. Paul would then pass to the next player coming in. The outcome is that the player going through without the ball was taking one or two defence The referee can't give obstruction as the player running in could have expected the ball. This is a tactic Millward has used at St Helens and Leigh before and unless the defence of the opposition is on the mark, will always create openings.
Very easy tactic to pinpoint, but not very easy to prevent - all Robbie will need to do is give it to the first receiver on the odd occasion and it will catch the defence on the hop, as happened with our last try last night. When you're stood in the defensive line, you can't help but move towards any players that look as though as they are set to receive the ball, even when you have a nagging doubt that they are just a dummy runner.

It'll be third game in four that we've had Hicks, and he hardly covered himself in glory in the previous two!
-
...but I can't bloomin' wait for Tuesday night!
We're going great guns at the minute and Basil has got us playing a really entertaining brand of rugby, but after seeing your past three games I know that we've got a very stern test on our hands.
Last night will have taken a lot out of us, as you'd expect in a derby game, but I'd hope there is plenty of time for recovery and we can go at you at full tilt.
The atmosphere is improving week on week at the LSV so I hope you bring plenty over and make as much of a racket as I know you can - don't forget it's only
-
I'll agree about the first 1, good hands but the second was woeful defence
Great build up play made their defence look bad
-
There was nothing special about Leigh tonight, their size mattered first half and they were ordinary second half against a poor Windies side
You did see our first two tries, didn't you?
-
Was supposed to be going to Halifax yesterday (OH DEAR!) so ended up at Wrexham instead, and I think I must defend the Cru here Robin as there's no way on earth there was only 1,800 there yesterday - the stand beneath the cameras was completely full in the centre and busy elsewhere, while I was sat opposite the cameras and it was reasonably busy around us; general estimate was that the crowd was somewhere between 2,500-3,000 which isn't bad going for a game on telly.
The atmosphere and overall experience was far better than I imagined - was great to see so many locals who were so enthusiastic about our game.

What a marvellous competition
The most sense you will read on any rugby forum for a long time

nUFF SAID
It was during the volcanic ash episode so there weren't many there to witness it either way!

The only chance you have of reaching WEMBLEIGH is if you are reffed by Warren turLEIGH
Well, he did ref us in the last round!!
interesting news from the LSV

I wouldn't say that they're particularly serious suggestions, although we do have the finances and, vitally, enough space on the salary cap to sign a top quality player if needs be - even more so if the 100Hundred idea comes off.
