Everyone as a bad day at work , it is how you react that matters.
I would love the player being abused to jump over the fence and see the reaction from the abuser , i have no doubt he would himself and apologies immediately to his face
Move on to next week and get behind the lads internal bickering is no use to anybody ,Championship rugby is a lot better than people give it credit for, decent amateur's are no where near the level of solid championship players and sooner people realize that the better, young players are up against seasoned pros and take time to adapt.
If they are coming from a super league club they have the ability ,but are used to playing in a structured manner, defensively and attackingly ,the championship side are sometimes all over the place in both aspects of the game , i am not making any excuses for them but that is the way it is .
Look at the back line that played at wembley less than 3 years ago to the one that as played this season ,and you see the answer to why this season as been a struggle , massive dip in quality , speed and try scorers
How did we go from last year, Burton 20+ tries
I’ll tell you why we don’t score without Hooley… he carried this team for 4 years
yards in bringing back the back from deep, he set up 80% of the tries if he didn’t score them himself! You don’t sign for Leeds if you are ###### let’s be honest yes it didn’t work out but they must of seen something in the kid…
he won us more games than we lost
yes also dale Morton is a massive loss with his work rate and try scoring too
Having watched us 30 odd years we have been spoilt in the full back position with Lingard and Hooley both are special players in different eras

Not far off a fair reflection KTF. Kear needs to be on the phone today, ringing everybody he knows to bring in 4 or 5 for the rest of the season and saying thanks to a few.
Regarding the attitude of 'some' fans targeting players personally, somebody with any decency should be taking the situation to the club and if necessary to the bus organiser. This excessive alcoholism has to be stopped with home and away. There seems to be a general knowledge of the culprit(s).
Was nothing to do with the bus or the organisers who aren’t happy about been blamed for this incident, it’s Maliciously causing trouble for people who are trying to help run things so people like myself and others who went yesterday despite running at a cost so we can follow our team and not miss matches so let’s think before blaming the bus or it’s members who had a wonderful day out in Barrow yesterday
Players won’t come to Batley who are in the bottom 3, we don’t have the money and why would they want to come here let’s be honest

Probably the worst performance of all season - we started ok, scored thought we were in the game but then lost the ball straight away from kick off, we can’t defend anywhere on the park especially when we make error after error
our attack is so boring if the drop off doesn’t work then we will try to shift it out but it won’t go because the opponent knows how to defend the threat from the 6 & 7…
We have no nasty aggression in defence, no leader without browny or gledhill, no leader in the halves who could get the game by scruff of the neck and control it and give us a chance to win a game
We aren’t a top team we need to buckle down and get back to do the hard stuff under Kear which will happen he’s seen what he needed to see yesterday

I'll say it again. McGowan on the wing, Robbie stays at FB.
Waste of a good player especially when we have Burton & Dean

Butterworth links in, as mentioned elsewhere check highlights of Butterworth putting numerous passes out to try scorers, 3 in one game at Whitehaven, magic catch n pass to Gill fortnight ago. Yeah he had a shaky couple of games early doors but not since. There's other positions to strengthen before full back.
He’s not a genuine full back isn’t Butterworth
we need to have a genuine full back has been mentioned that Hooley in the team last year we lost four games
-
He has to be full back links in the line well from previous seasons
also brilliant under the high ball
-
As noble said in his press conference we didn’t have a game and he had some players injured who will be back for this week

They BOTH went straight back into Bulls' team last Sunday....
That would be brilliant as they played Friday night

Slightly off topic, but we trumpeted the arrival of Jacob Bateman on a season-long loan, had a fair game v Bradford, then didn't get picked v Eagles and now he's picked in Bulls reserves....what gives?
He asked Kear since he was 18th man against Sheffield if he could play as he was given a good enough reason on Sunday for his non selection, John gave him a pat on back and said since we don’t have a game go and play in the reserves
it’s a non story

Walshaw
brown
high
special mention to gill too
-
Give gill the ball from 15 out he’ll score it
we need to attack better we have only scored 36 tries in 13 league games
its ok scoring 60+ plus against amateurs in Newcastle but we need to have more attacking flair in the games that matter time for white and woods to sort the pack out and lay down the law for them attack with the flair we have on the field

I am very surprised but he’s a good appointment I do wonder if he’ll get a sway with the dual registration agreement
good luck to JK and the boys
he loves a good fight
-
Is this the biggest game of the season so far? Yes
We owe them one but can we get the win? We have to start big and hopefully get off to a better start than previous weeks we can’t afford to go 12-18 points down

Did ok at Bulls, but somebody with good pull of players would be preferable. I had thought about Chris Thorman but he's gone to York as assistant as part of a 3 way York/ Newcastle/Oz tie up, Graham Steadman gone to Thunder as Director of Rugby and Coach. We don't want a continuation coach though, too near to players to give a good ollocking, needs a new face.
Next you’ll be saying bring back David Ward
