I think this is a close one either way. Wouldn't like to put money on it either way. Not a clue.
If we're talking putting money on it, the bookies have Saints as slight favourites. I'd have it the other way round but like yourself, I wouldn't be confident either way.

I’m surprised KR weren’t more mindful of this. I’ve generally been very impressed with Hudgell, and even more so when I learned that he’d represented some of the postal workers that were screwed over in the Horizon scandal. Thought they’d have steered clear of this.
Hudgell has gone up in my estimation in the last few years too but I'm astonished Rovers have got into bed with a company who ruined people's livelihoods in their own community, openly admitted breaking the law and have faced no consequences as a result.

This might end up on the politics forum but I'm with the RMT.
After what those bastards P&O Ferries did, nobody in Hull should be going anywhere near them as business partners.

Just seen the red card incident. Ridiculous. You wouldn't even get sent off for that in football.
I've just seen it too.
From what I've seen of Tom Grant so far, he's got a lot to learn.

Combination of the returning Jake Trueman and the returning Tom Briscoe get Hull under the 22 point handicap.
That'll do for me.

To be fair to Danny he's just done 38mins tackling.
FP had only been on 5mins.
I think MZH needs to fess up to that one

I think he is also at fault for that second try.
We've been done by that a couple of times. He can't get across to the short ball to a support player. The opposition will be aware of that but we need to be too.

Costly error from Pele, he really should have had the awareness that he'd run behind Aydin and surrendered.

Shame Nikorima couldn't get the ball down. The game really needs a Catalans try now.

Well I enjoyed the game. 2 teams under a lot of pressure, mistakes are going to happen. We're not going to pretend the quality of our play is good. What I wanted as a Hull fan was effort throughout and some evidence of resilience and structure in defence and I think we definitely got that.
We're under-sized and inexperienced as a team. But for the first time in a long time (unless I've forgotten one, first time since August last year), we scored first and were in it until the end. Big step in the right direction.
For Leeds, they'll no doubt feel similar to how we felt when we beat London: a game they should have performed a lot better in and been more convincing in considering relative positions.
We know where we are at the moment and it's way too early to say if it was any kind of turning point but it was nice to feel a little positivity about the place.
The reception the players received at the end was good to see. For an "entitled" bunch we're easily pleased.

Walker having the epitome of a rocks and diamonds game.
Couple of things he won't be happy with but it was good to have him back. Seems odd to think of Young Jack bringing a bit of experience to the team.

Some Leeds fans being childish morons with their little songs today.
The songs about Rohan Smith?
Absolutely not on.

He’s a good player to be fair, deserves a good run at this level
Can't be easy coming into a struggling side as a loan player but fair play to him, he had a real dig. Was quite impressed with him.

I always thought penalty try was an 8 point try? You get the pen after the fact
No, an eight point try is given when the try scorer is fouled in the act of scoring.

Paul Woods esque effort at pinching a couple of metres by Sneyd.
No speedway track to place it on though.

I don't think that was a try, but why is there always a better angle available after the video ref has made the decision while looking at far worse angles?
Seems to happen so often.

Beautifully struck by Sneeeeeeyd.

The completely ridiculous "On field" decision strikes yet again.
He bounced that.
Looked more than iffy but Brierley shouldn't have left the ref with a call to make.

Another quality bit of play from Dufty
"Dufty of all people bungles it"
Wonder how often Rod Studd has seen Dufty play.

That's some effort from Lafai but I don't know how the Warrington players thought they were going to stop him by just waving their arms at him.

Really want FC to win this but can't see it. Perhaps they need a former Wigan player as coach. That would go down well.
Re ownership: Leigh have shown what can be done with an owner whose main business is static caravan decking. With the huge number of static caravans being manufactured in the Hull area, is there not an opportunity to get an owner from one of those businesses?
I can't see it either. I think Hull's next win is still some way off.
Just looking for some signs of improvement.
