It peaked at this number when suckers like me just saw England v Norway (with no mention of gender) on the schedule and clicked on for three seconds before muttering FFS and switching off.

I was walking round the grounds of an all inclusive resort hotel in Mexico when I spotted a guy in a Hull FC shirt. I went over and commented on a forthcoming game between these two Yorkshire giants. The guy told me he was actually a Wakefield fan and had bought a few RL shirts just for his holidays. I saw him later in a more suitable shirt.

I think it will be quite exciting for anyone from Hull.
Neutrals not so.
Best game of the weekend in this neutrals opinion. Just pips Saints v Wigan mainly because of the results.

Great commentary from Mark Wilson, really needs to replace Bill Arthur as Sky's Number 1, very good, even with the enormous drag factor of Baz.

Just wished he'd put his dentures in. Sounds like my toothless great grandad slurring his words.

This game will be decided during that 10 minute spell at the start of the 2nd half I reckon.

I think the moment that killed any hope that we would survive that spell was at the end of T.O. 1st set (includes the 6 again) when they dropped the ball on the last and Corey Hall went for a pick up and break away rather than just dropping on it and taking a steady six.

Yes I imagine the stadium will be full, Wakefield will take 5,000 to Newcastle and this game thread will run to 30+ pages?
Or will the stadium be threadbare, Wakefield will take a 1000 and a few Leigh, Fev, Wakey and Total RL die hards will post on here during the game?
Wakefield sold about 1500 through the shop. Add others who bought direct or earlier today. Nice and sunny here but a strange cloud over the wakey end since Lino announced as missing the game. Brad Walker takes his place.

Must be some twitchy bottoms at Belle Vue.
He's replacing Bill Tupou who's just retired through injury.

I’d prefer to remember Steve Ella than Mark Graham. David Solomona was a big signing for Wakey.
Solomona was a phenomenal signing.

Remember the name well but just can't picture the guy. 58! RIP

Lino in the bin and some awful end of set kicks by Wakefield up high into a strong wind hasn't helped.

The strong shadows made me think it was much higher. Remember sitting in 35 degrees once at Catalans old ground. phew!

Berwyn Jones who was a sprint champion and member Great Britain 4 x 110 yards relay team, Commonwealth Games medal winner I think , signing for Wakefield Trinity.
Or Mike Lampkowski signing for Trinity having represented England RU .
Plus Keith Smith, what a player, singing for Trinity from the England RU set up.
Trinity was a behemoth when Berwyn Jones signed.
Lampy and Smith became star players after they signed for Trin.

Thought the game was a bit slow getting going then suddenly it turned into an enthralling tussle. Really enjoyable.
What was the temperature during that 1st half?

Tbf there is a certain random quality to his officiating.
Two weeks in a row that a one sided game has helped mask Jack Smith's ineptitude.

If he does move on in the near future at least he will be able to drive to a new job "sob sob poor me". I would have expected him to take his punishment on the chin. Also does not say a lot about Fev's infrastructure.
12 points on his licence suggests he plays by his own rules.

He trained and travelled with Wales to France for their recent mid-season international.
I dealt with Kyle’s paperwork in the build up, he seemed a good fella who’s willing to work hard for his opportunities.
You can’t knock the lad. His age he cannot change, his past I hope he has learned from. Coming off the back of a hat-trick fof Trin’s reserves I wish him the very best.
Two consecutive game hat-tricks actually.

Has anyone actually seen the lad play?
Presume this is a real question so...
He's been playing along side our fringe players in the reserves all season and been one of the best in that group. Because of the success of the reserves this year there have been many Trinity supporters in attendance at these games and I doubt that there will be any who don't agree that it's time to give the lad a go in the 1st team. I've only attended two of the 6 fixtures btw.

Only big surprise for Wakefield fans is that it's taken so long to give him a go. He's been doing well as a trialist in the successful reserves team this year whilst Lineham has been given chance after to chance to save face in Super League.
Evans upgraded to 1st team for remainder of season whilst Lineham goes out on loan to Fev or joins his mate Chris Chester over at Leigh?
Everybody's happy.
