Almost an unfortunate name, given what followed a few years later.
That's spooky.

I'll remember the weather longer than the game itself.
Maybe the No. 13 for the Grammar School team is someone to keep a check on.
Where did everyone get the polythene ponchos from? I cadged a large polythene bag off one of the Wembley cleaners.who then asked his supervisor if they had 90,000 bags available (this was before the official crowd was known).

Thanks for answers all. It is a worry for the World Cup because, at anything near his best, he'd be one of the first picks.
I'm sure that at his worst he'll still be one of McNamara's 1st picks.

"I'm sick and tired of people talking about my weakness in defence" said the former Hull FC turnstile operator.
Bit disappointed Wakefield didn't come in with a last minute bid, I've got "Wakey sign" bookmarked on my pc.
Even Wakefield have a standard which they won't drop below.

. Today the Cru had the benefit of being in front of the commentary box and the mics.
And in front of the TV cameras too or was that done with mirrors?

With Radford now eligible to play I'm sure KR will benefit from the penalty share out.

I thought it was Simms who's the problem?

Club Wembley was OK but had I been a Wire or Leeds fan I would have prefered to have been down in the crowds.
Was surprised to see a lot of the Wire players WAGS up there just before the presentation. Thought they would have had special seats? About 15 minutes before the end the stewards stand in the aisles to stop people from moving into the empty seats along side the presentation area. The WAGS managed to persuade the stewards to let them through, hence Morley and Westwoods family got up to the edge.

Great chase back from Ian Kirke. Although it did look like Dixon had the lead boots on that Ryan Hall had been wearing for the 1st 40minutes.

I've heard the "easy, easy" chant a few times when Wakefield have held a commanding to nil lead. 20'odd nil at half time and we've gone on to lose it.

I can't remember Northern going through such a bad patch. I'm actually ashamed to be wearing the the famous red, amber & black right now, such was the embarrassment that I've just seen.
Get across and watch Wakefield. It will be just the same but with a different colour shirt on.

He won't look that deep. He'll just see 4 x Premier League teams.
