Got to be better than trying to get a loads of posh little ##### to catch a rugby ball, or make a basic tackle.

Nothing to lose for Wardy. Loved him at Broncos / Harlequins. I was chatting to him when he touch judged in a recent Elmbridge / St Albans u16s game in which his son was playing and he was so chilled out. Keeps Cas up and he's a hero and no doublt a job offer, they go down and he has options, stay as is or take on Cas in Champs. I'd have him back at Broncos in a heartbeat.

Well, if they thought that it would turn things around then they are exceptionally naïve. Surely they realise they've run off all their fans, even the hardcore anorak types who supported them on their tour of London.
I resent that suggestion

I had this discussion ahead of the Cup draw as I fancied London away as it would have been my seventh venue watching London Broncos. Their fans must be on ten grounds in London.
For me Crystal Palace, Barnet Coptall, The Valley, The Stoop, Griffin Park, Plough Lane, Trailfinders, The Hive .... plus home games at Esher RU, Adams Park, Crawley, Kingstonians, Gillingham, Orient (I think there is more) ..... and on the road games., and of course Wembley in '99

OR (radical thought) make a virtue of being nomads, have a training ground but move around London spreading the word (not realistic I realise and many down sides but its kinda what they are doing without the word spreading bit..)
This ^ why didnt they stay at Ealing all under one roof, play some of the lesser games there and all the Academy, Reserve and Scholarship fixtures and play a handful of games at Plough Lane. Oh, and stay full time, actually have a plan and recuit some half decent players! All a moot point now.

Is this a serious question.. Why would Ealing entertain having us back after our estimeed owner's comments on why we moved to PL in the first place
My point exactly

What circumstances at Ealing would change to make it realistic for them to return ? Also, didnt Hughes pee off another landlord .....

I've tried for 20 years to get people near me interested in it, and I did manage to get a few of them to games in 2013 world cup, when we had some decent games played outside of m62 \ cumbria.
But they had pretty much 0 interest in last years WC, althiough they did go to the Semi final in London
Likewise and after 20 odd years of home and away and multiple home grounds even the likes of me cant be bothered putting myself out for the current management who Ive had my fill of.
On the latter point, the trouble isnt with London in itself, its the complete lack of interest nationwide as a result of the sport becoming so insular and held back by parochialsim and small mindedness it just plummets down the favourite sports hit list.

Good idea
Think we'll be back in SL soon regardless
Tongue in cheek I trust ? Even the most ardent Bronco doesnt believe that.

I would love our journalists to do this every year.. like a year in review.. that is really in depth and comparing to last year etc.. while talking to people with boots on the ground who can tell you actual good news (and not so) stories from the year..
I'd buy and read that in the xmas week happily (would get me away from eating the entire fridge and watching absolute cack on tv, well for about a day anyway, which would be nice)
They should do one on 'London' - that would make interesting reading

Panthers and Broncos was a good battle. Warriors and Knights was lower quality and a harder watch mainly due to the 26 penalties or restarts from Sutton junior
But the NRL is back baby !!!!!

The ebbsfleet ground is where they should be full time! If look at where wasps have moved to it’s pretty similar and had a good feel to it
It doesnt really matter where we play or what bells and whistles are attached, if we have a poor non competitive side then no one will bother. Any one seen the squad for 2023 ? 21 players of which 6 or 7 under 20 with a handful of first grade games between them. They should be playing reserve grade.

Better squad and coach than last year IMO
Theres only 21 players noted on the website of which 9 or 10 are 20 or younger so not sure what you base your 'better squad' claim. We appear to have lost Curran and Siti, but who knows with the Broncos - bottom 4 unless we recruit hard in the next few weeks.

WTF? You need to take less water with it.
Trains and petrol over £500 - hotels over £500 - tickets over £600 - other costs massive. Enjoyed and will enjoy every minute

In fairness for some us living 180 miles away adds about £150 extra in transport/hotels and about 6 hours of travelling.....
Though I do get your point
Yes, but as Broncos fans we put ourselves week in week out. Away games to me are like home games, and we do it because we love the sport. Up north, if you have to out your post code area it becomes too much trouble. Even to watch some of the best athletes of the 'so called greatest game' on the planet.

Ah yes, blame your potential customers, that is exactly the correct way to do things
The trouble is the 'potential' customers want the game on their doorstep and to pay bare minimum prices. And that why league will always be a minority sport; or they had grown some balls Aus v Lebanon and NZ v Fiji, both in London, and the other two as they are, in hindsight

England Samoa and then on to this game - both should be real close affairs. Can't wait.

RU has done nothing but try to kill off RL for past 100 years. Just go look at the bile on BBC site…
Maybe in the 'amateur' years and a few years post professionalism, but much less so now. The chip on shoulder some RL carry is very sad. And let's be honest, RL can kill itself off without the help of other.

Apparently France, London identified as areas of focus for growth. So are all three teams getting Cat A
It really doesn't say that does it !!!! You are promoting tripe. You really cant argue that London well done has more potential than Fev, but its never been well done and I've watched the ups and downs for far too long. Currently we are grade B at best (and I don't know the criteria) but we do have an academy that has no competition within 150+ miles so if that was effective its surely a huge positive. Ask Wigan, Saints, Hull, etc

Do you live in the early 1900s ? You know time has moved on ? This sort of baggage is the reason league has not moved forward and is a bit of a joke at times.
Ive coached plenty of 'union' lads and they are on the whole first class individuals, love playing rugby league and there isnt a Rupert or Henry amongst them !
