Well this is interesting, seems each team plays each other twice, they have just put up the schedule, 11 weeks long. Includes a "Magic Weekend" (doesn't say where), a semi-final and and Grand Final at the end. Good luck to them, I hope they pull it off without any forfeits!

Winners should player the champions of the Scotish League.

Hopefully, in just a few days time, ME (or GH, or other) will emerge onto some balcony, somewhere, and announce "habemus salvatorem" and the Broncos faithful will fall to their knees - with gratitude and relief - that they may not need a miracle, after all, to see this season through to League 1 but can glimpse some light at the end of the proverbial !
An ascension to some NRL-celestial SL will be beyond most fans' prayers (and, let's be honest, under the current circumstances, most likely an unfair advantage) but a London reset reboot restart might just enable southern RL followers to start believing again.
( Apologies if any of that was sacrilegious - no offence to the heartlands cult ! )All good... I'm a proud Catholic, a little bit of fun doesn't hurt anyone.

Play the WCC in Monaco, I know the staduim is only 16k. But I think the players would love to play and be around so much wealth and prestige. It would make the WCC almost like a Champions League final for rugby league (just a thought) Even though the Australian fans wouldn't travel that much it would be a prized event for the British supporters.

So does anyone actually know who’s taking over the Broncos and when?
They better hurry up, they are on the cusp of League One

I do like all 3, but just wondering they should have gone for a more iconic chevron look. Also I think the emblem needs a upgrade as it looks too much like the SRU one.

Sydney Roosters V Manchester Roosters WCC Final...
Sounds pretty stupid but very plausible.

More content itself is not always worth more.
Content that rates is what matters.
Reducing to ten teams initially would create 5 games per week in the top tier to broadcast.
Additionally, the connection to NRL Australia would likely see more content from there.
This is also where branding to larger cities of regions can be helpful.
Changing St Helens to "Liverpool St Helens Saints" probably won't help crowds but a casual fan who love Liverpool in soccer and know the city are possibly more likely to sit down and watch out of curiousity, possibly adding the side to their casual watch list.
The same of course being the case for Manchester.
Isn't Liverpool St Helens already a union club.

I'm getting fed up of the endless speculation without any confirmation.
I'm going to tune out until something happens.
If you don't mind, tip me off when you hear some real news?
You'll be back.

I doubt the Aussie takeover will happen but that theory has more holes than council roads. I used to say Swiss cheese but we were in Europe then!
How about Tottenham defence?

"Should the Roosters invest in Salford then the Red Devils, likely rebranded to the Manchester Roosters, would be the ninth team with one spot remaining.
The Herald’s report also reveals that York Knights and London Broncos are clubs being “considered” for investment from the Roosters, with York’s owner Clint Goodchild recently attending a Roosters game with Politis."
London Roosters?

This is also where the whole insistence on 10 teams, with 8 English teams, becomes complicated and frankly damaging to the game here. If this happened I think we can presume that Salford would be certainties to be in with Politis behind it. I think the following 8 would be certainties in such a scenario:
Catalans
Toulouse
Wigan
Leeds
St Helens
Warrington
Hull FC
Salford
Maybe, and should be there, but it depends on the NRL's aims:
Hull KR
Teams that have built, get decent crowds, have backers and are an asset to SL and shouldn't be kicked out
Wakefield
Leigh
Existing SL clubs who would be struggling badly by some metrics:
Castleford
Huddersfield
Teams that maybe should be there depending on the NRL's strategic goals and if they invest:
London
Bradford
10 teams quickly doesn't add up for me.If it was me.... I'd have a 10 comp with promotion and relegation comp of say 8 teams. Both leagues being professional but the lower league with a smaller salary cap of about 2/3.
For example 10 NRL Europe, with a 8 Team NRL England (or NRL UK)
With the lower league, you could have some strong clubs like Leigh and Wakefield and bring in clubs like Bradford and London with maybe 1 or 2 new franchise teams from for example a team in Wales.
-
Roosters are a mega rich club with some impressive assets... Maybe they want to get into the Salford property market.
-
Salford being bought out by Roosters "yes" being renamed named as the "Roosters" mmm no.

London Broncos (Merged Threads)

Pretty much... If the wanted a rebrand they would be better of starting a club from scratch. They need to except it that it's London Broncos.
