Having read some of your previous posts on here i believe that you are a fair minded individual.
You and i both know that changes are required.
I agree that under the circumstances it has on paper ended up being a decent season but in reality has it really.
The flair and excitement has not quite been there.
Quote from my wife on Saturdays game "I want Wigan to win tonight because Leeds have not been a champion team this season".
Very difficult to argue with her.
Do you agree with some of my ins and outs and also the positional changes?
This is not a dig at Leeds by the way as i class them as my second team after my hometown club 'Wakey'.
I started work in Pudsey in 1987 until 1994 and i used to visit Headingley at 3.00 pm on Sunday's.
The days of E.T,Schoey,Ellery, the overweight captain Lee Crookes,Creasser,Bentley,Cliff Lyons etc.
Happy days.
thats unusual a citisen from the merry city liking leeds

The question is Leeds fans wrongly lambasting Clarke because they cannot understand a person can write something whereby they articulate some opinions being given throughout RL but when they offer THEIR opinion they differentiate by saying In My Opinion. The whole article is fair. He refutes the call for a penalty try against Leeds for example and he praises McGuire. Even when questioned later by Hemmings, Clarke states that the view is one being held by many.
To then get a Leeds fan (yourself Terry), the Leeds coach and the Leeds/GB captain lying and make numerous false accusations is totally hypocritical. The Wigan team / coach are the only ones acting with any class.
well it was good to read that Thomas Leuluai has since apologised for his conduct

Scotty has been a good servant to leeds and scored some good tries in some memorable games i wish he had played in the wcc challenge ,i think he would have scored where the young kallum watkins did not,but i know Scott would always acknowledge the great centre he played with when on the left wingTHE EVERGREEN keith senior

Sad but true.
You would have throught one of the deadly duo of Cameron and Clegg would have seen this as an ideal PR opportunity to appeal to the working class Northerners gathering in London for their annual day out.
its wonderful steve prescott guest of honour, but please dont mention that putty faced old etonian ex bullingdon club member attending our occasion

On the subject of the redevelopment of Headingley; both Leeds rugby and Yorkshire cricket have had significant sums of money from the taxpayer, via Leeds Met, to pay for stand rebuilds. My understanding is that the South Stand was pretty much paid for by the University and that the latter is also paying Leeds RU

Thats the worst away end in SL, tiny, out in the open and crumbling.
Leeds should do-up that end first.
its not the official away end ,noones forcing away fans to stand there

Edited for accuracy...

If you don't spot him you'll hear him

Maybe if you also said the above to the Castleford poster it might have some relevance with me. Oh and you just did respond.
I really enjoy my trips to the Jungle so I for one hope that they stay in Super League. Just seen your plans for the new stadium in the Yorkshire Post, if you can fill the funding gap, it'll keep you in Super League.
I also hope they stay in SL for the size of the town they have great support and i dont take their hatred for the city of leeds seriously either ,because when they come into the city for shopping, or a night out etc .I can tell they dont take it that seriously either

If Leeds had any commercial sense a special one-off Challenge Cup final shirt would be produced and sold.
I think Gary knows this too

Good lads, we didn't fight the war of the roses for nothing.

I still have no idea if I'm going to be sat with St Helens or Leeds supporters
My friend Chris wanted four tickets for the lads all together and when he rung Headingley the lady on the phone said that they only had single seats left when he rang yesterday.
Cue a mad panic to ring the RFL who said the same (they could allocate four together in the Pink Link St Helens end) thing.
Then the strange part which I can't get my head around, this morning he rang again and the lady at Headingley said that the RFL had released a further 800 tickets for the Panasonic upper tier behind the sticks and when he asked why these hadn't been on sale earlier, the reply was the RFL didn't want an empty stand at the instruction of the BBC.
Now I'm sorry but surely it's in everyones best interests to provide the demand for tickets rather than keeping stands and sections closed.
Anyhow were all happy and have tickets now and shall be leaving Bradford on the 09:45 train to Huddersfield.
If anyone want's to meet up PM me and I'll give you my number.
COME ON YOU SAINTS
my mate tom's got our's i think he said behind post's upper tier.

Wakey and Bradford out.
Fax and Barrow in.
actually if halifax get in and then go on a run like huddersfield are having they would get bigger crowds by far than giants
