Toulouse are difficult to beat at home. Their only loss was against Fev when they had several players out and their 2nd place play off spot was confirmed

Great game and great advert for the championship
I'm still fuming from some of the decisions. Hopefully they won't be the difference between winning and losing

Should be 18-6 to London

I can't understand some of these decisions

Should've been an obstruction too.

Should've been a knock on at the play the ball

Fev seem to have a couple of 10 tackle sets for no reason?
Thought I was the only one that noticed that

I’d agree, it’s going to be hot conditions and TO have got a few players back in the squad. I think a relatively comfortable home win., although the Bulls have improved the last few weeks.
Play off games are never easy

Is this game being covered by The Game Caller?

I always remember Avignon as the place that always gets huge crowds for internationals. I've no idea why anyone has never tried to work this area more!
If we could just find the money to fund the extra French clubs! That's potentially Catalans, Toulouse, Carcassonne and Avignon. So frustrating!
It needs a Bernard Gausch, Derek Beaumont type person who sees the potential and wants to put their hands in their pockets.

I won’t get excited as obviously we’ve heard stuff like this before, but Avignon is a cracking little city and having them in SL would be brilliant. As JonM says they haven’t got a professional football or Yawnion club in town to compete with either.
Yep, amazing and beautiful city. UK fans would LOVE travelling to Avignon and in my view the perfect away day.
They sit in a department of nearly 600,000 people, with no other pro sports team, a SL standard stadium, in an area that's produced a lot of good players.
Salon is down the road and Marseille is nearby. So they have all the right ingredients, they just need the right strategy and I'm guessing some investment.
We have heard this many times before though from Avignon and its come to nothing so I won't hold my breath

Younes Khattabi dreams of Super League for Avignon
WRITTEN BY NICOLAS · OCTOBER 2, 2023
Younes Khattabi, president of SO Avignon, told La Provence that he dreams of Super League for his club.
It has now been a little over a year since the former Catalan Dragons player took over the presidency of the SOA. Younes Khattabi explained that this new challenge was very interesting even if it was very different from the player's. He hopes to meet the expectations of the people who support the club and wants to dream big for the Bison. He explained to La Provence:
We need a big project in Avignon, or even a Super League club. This positive energy and optimism are part of me. I have always seen the glass half full, there is nothing impossible.
While Elite 1 is still struggling to take off, Avignon is another club looking towards England while Carcassonne has confirmed that it has taken action for an entry into the RFL competitions hoped for 2025.
Thanks, it's not the translation for the article in the original post but seems like similar talking points?

league 1…no thank you….
We already have road trips to Cornwall, Newcastle, Workington, Birmingham in our 8 game away schedule. Maybe super league teams should go beyond the M62 corridor a bit more frequently.
If your team is unable to finance playing in a national or international competition they should do exactly what London Skolars did and go play in a regional league, it's that simple.

Been all though this many times Harry (History of the last 25 years below dates approx)
1997/98 Eurosport was fantastic NO MONEY but they paid for production costs (Eurosport was massive in France then)
1998/2003 (Approx) Pathe Sport NO money but again they paid for production costs meant that clubs received money though sponsorship perimeter advertising etc
2004/2005 Sport + NO money production costs paid for from outside :((((
2006 until today various channels for Dragons matches and FFR finals internationals etc NO money and mainly production costs paid for by Dragons and FFR 13
The game is far to small to ever have a major TV company paying a fee for it IMHO for what its worth best way forward is a streaming channel and go down the subscriptions route on a global basis to help fund it.
It is what it is and to be honest very enjoyable at that, FFR needs to support the main clubs get a couple of old ones back in the Elite 1 (My suggestions Carpentras and Salon) and then use the International team to spread the word.
P
I think the FFRXIII and the RL community in France need to accept for now that they are unlikely to get coverage on French TV without paying for it and there's nothing wrong with that.
The WWE started out paying for Cable TV coverage and they are now one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world. They had to start somewhere, now French RL must start from somewhere. It's not all doom and gloom you just need to think outside the box.

I was at the stadium this morning. It's not very big. Pitch is OK but only one stand. Lots of road works going on in the vicinity so Fév fans, get the bus and/or shanks' pony
Is it good enough for the Championship?
