Just been informed that it has been on the radio this afternoon (either Real Radio or Radio Manchester) that a Halifax fan had to have brain surgery last night after the game, according the story he was attacked on Dallam Lane whilst travelling back to his coach. Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and there was a lot of people around that area at the time ?

Looked into going to this game by train from the Wigan area and the only trains going though require several changes and don't get there until late afternoon. Does anybody know if there are any coach trips being planned for this game from Wigan area ??

A current mid table Championship club with crowds of 3-4,000 thousand over about a dozen home games and in a ground that is council owned, has turn over of 2.5 million pounds with a 1 million pound profit ??? Are the directors all off Dragons Den ?

Booked on train trip, originally to depart at 7.30am then changed on website to now depart at 9.00am. Had a missed called this afternoon from club and when I tried to call back couldn't get thru so I called seetickets who took my booking and they are adament that as per an email they have had today the train is leaving at 7.30am and not 9.00am ???????? Just got thru to the club and they say that it is leaving at 8.56am and are advising people to get there 15 minutes before this. There is a post on RFL Fans.com where some people have been contacted but not others and nothing on the website. Anybody else know different, bit of a joke this ??

Riddell, Feka, Phelps and Bailey are almost ceratin to not be there next season so there are 3 places left on the overseas quota. I would be happy with signing Lima not to sure about Hofman though as we are well stocked up on back row forwards. Depends on the situ with Hock though and moving Mossop to prop would be an option but then we have Tuson and Farrell coming thru !!! It's more quality in the backline we need defo another half back and hopefully a bigblockbusting centre to....

As I didn't go to France to watch my team over the weekend I decided to ride to Blackpol to take in there game with South Wales, never been before or seen either of the 2 teams play at that level. Crackin day out just a fiver to get in with my Wigan Warriors season ticket, The new pavillion end facilities are really good, friendly staff/stewards and the match itself was played at a really good level. There where about 50 Wales supporters there who where all enjoying themselves and well in to the game, just a pity that left only about 200 Blackpool supporters there at the game... Hearing various stories/tales of woe about there prediciment I would recommend to anybody who has a free weekend to pop along and support them definitley worth the trip and the people who are running the club/ matches deserve all the sucess in promoting the game that they can.
