I'll believe it when i see it! In France the clubs pay 20000 euros to play in elite 1, there's no prize money, the money just goes to the federation to run the comp and keep RL alive in France, the clubs have to then pay their players, pay the transport, pay the production costs for showing the games on YouTube or Facebook, the fines, the players license to play, the fines etc The clubs get nothing from the federation,
2000 euros to put a under 19s team into the elite u19s comp,
So it's the clubs that fund the federation.

Great for him to be back. Quite a ridiculous situation to be banned for 2 years for using a short-lived stimulant for night out.
Is it still an illegal substance? Can you get suspended from work for testing positive? The second is a serious question.

Yes Maloney is back, he had a great game yesterday, As a parent I was a little sad hearing the younger Lézignan teams singing his name, we had a touch game with the u15s and u13s the morning before the game, one kid said I can't believe he got away with a months ban, a few others said "its nothing what he did as it was for a night out and not for the game" " he's probably been taking it for years, in Australia everyone takes it" they said and a few in of the other kids agreed,
Even the older people in the crowd cheered him when his name was mentioned to give him support, quite a few players have been banned for 2 years over here for doing exactly the same thing,
A few of the u17s parents (the u17s played the curtain raiser) left after the u17s game to show they're not happy with the decision to let him play,
It's the clubs choice and he definitely played a big part in Lézignan winning yesterday. I just hope the kids don't think it's a normal thing to take it on a night out and if they get caught they'll be back in a month!

Farnworth is playing well every week against players that are contenders for the Australian, New Zealand and Tonga teams, the other English centres are playing against contenders for the England, Scotland,Wales,France and the combined nations teams, surely that's the difference.

The two semi finals where scheduled to be on via Occitanie with the kick off times imposed by them, but this week they've decided not to cover the games, so the carcassonne game will be in the clubs Facebook and the limoux game on the limoux YouTube channel.

Are carcassonne now clear at the top?
A lovely town.
No they can still finished third due to a mad rule that says if teams are equal they go on the goal average between the two teams, so v limoux Carcassonne are -2 and a Lézignan -4 or something like that, they need Lézignan to lose one of their remaining games or limoux to lose against Villeneuve next week, limoux have lost four games but won defensive bonus points in each of the four losses,

It was a cracking game at Carcassonne yesterday, two good teams, physical game even the score was high.

Nobody understands here either.

The sharks have published a few things on social media but it looks a bit like they're trying to provoke a reaction more than actually making a comeback, too many bridges burnt for this almost phantom 3 man club.
-
A few teams where made to stop their season after not being able to fulfill two games, the two Montpellier teams had to stop their season because of this, the red devils played and won a friendly last Sunday, I was speaking to Keiran Lewis after the game Carcassonne be st Gaudens and he played at Montpellier sharks earlier this year and he mentioned it's a club built on lies and false promises. The red devils have money etc to fulfill games but just can't find enough players

Great that they can play it at Brutus. It appears some type of bug in the Catalan camp. Players like Cozza and Seguier didn't play at Toulouse Sunday.
Maybe an expected to win bug . Villeneuve had a a couple of players with flu too.

Toulouse beat Catalan in elite 1.
Catalan play Carcassonne at Brutus on Saturday live on via Occitanie.

I’m not sure about the bad reads, he had to follow his centre Gagai in a couple of times as that’s the system they play. He missed 1 tackle when rushing up to cut out a play where Penrith had a 3 v 1 and they went on to score a try but it was Trish or bust either way.
Yes you're probably right, maybe one bad read, the rule in NRL clubs is usually if one jams in the rest jam in. So he did what he is asked to do.
-
It was his side's second row that got sent off, so it's logical that they attacked his side more, a couple of bad reads by him, but i guess it's not easy defending on the wing when your missing a player on your edge.
Elite 1 is back this weekend
