Someone said further back that the club want a programme but the RFL don't - Sorry i'm new to forum so still learning how to quote and that!
But anyway, why to the RFL not want the eagles to produce a programme?
Also I don't think the eagles are fulling tapping into the student population. I mean all round Bramall lane there are student houses and right across the road in a number of direction you have student accomdation - The Forge, 700 students, the trigon, 300 students, bramall court, archways, leadmill point, the anvil. The list goes on an within half a mile, mile of the ground there must be at least 7,000 students living in the area. Now it's got my on board but speaking to a two friends living in the forge they said they didnt hear anything about the game. No flyers, posters anything around the halls. They've never seen RL but said a fiver to get into BL is great and hopefully i'll be dragging them along to the next game after wigan!
But if the eagles need the bodies to promote then alot of cash-strapped students would more than happy to help if a free ticket or two went their way!
