Exactly, I thought Hewer could've been stricter for both teams on the 'minor' offences if you like. I can't wait for the game at the Shay, we should both have our full squad by then and I think it'll be a cracker.

Good solid workmanlike performance, nothing more, nothing less. Just hope we can carry it on in to the league season. Looks like we will need a bonus point at the most on Monday to qualify, maybe we could play some of our younger lads? Although I'd like to see Menzie and Richie Barnett get a game under their belts before the real stuff starts, both were in attendance last night, btw.

It's just started snowing here, about 10 minutes drive from the ground, all be it very lightly.

You'd think so, but like I say, they're trying to get the game on at all costs. Last year we played Hunslet(?) at home midweek after the original game was postponed, the pitch was just about solid at half time but they played on as we couldn't get the ground at any other time it's a joke, I know...

I know there's a pitch inspection and everything but surely this has to be some kind of record?
