Someone was saying last week that he’s gone , can’t verify that

I believe your right David I think he’s handed his notice in, and like someone said earlier he’s a local that gives good go forward, sad to see him go

I thought we still had capacity of 10000, when did it get dropped.

It’s been dropped to 5000 because the insurance premiums,I suppose if they wanted to increase the capacity they would have to increase their premiums but it doesn’t make a lot of sense to pay through the nose if you don’t need too

Not sure if it’s correct but in the news and star report online said 942. If we were only allowed 950 not bad. I wonder why Barrow were allowed far more.

It’s because our capacity is only 5000, so hence the 950 limit

Anyone know if you can pick up a match ticket at the the ground during the week as in previous seasons ?

I think you have to keep checking towns social media sites, and all will be revealed??

You had to state which part of the ground you wanted when buying a season ticket.

What if you don’t have a season ticket , do you get banished to the fence with a pair of steps

Brilliant result today, especially as the crusaders weren't a bad team.

As its only 3 games in after a long lay off the sharpness and concentration isn't quite there all of the time but it isn't far off.  Thought Caine was our MOM today, he played really well. I'm sure Chris will be happier than he made out on the radio. Matty is taking to the pro game like a duck to water isn't he? Does he have a bad game?

Cant wait until next week, there will be plenty of grown men like excited school kids by Sunday dinner time 🤣

Oh hell do I have to wait till Sunday dinner time 😜

Well we’ve won that game fairly easily but in all honesty we didn’t really get out of 2nd gear. Some lovely tries scored but too many mistakes for which we’d be punished against better teams. Some good individual performances but also some injuries to worry about. I don’t think either of the Jakes came back on and Gabe was really struggling before he went off.

Unfortunately I think jake is at least 4 weeks out, gabe i don’t know but he had a moon boot on after them match hopefully just a precaution, but i suppose that’s the beauty of a big squad, fair play to London in the first 15,20 minutes they had a game plan and they stuck to it , and played well until town settled and took control,so in general a good match in parts and abreast 2 points

  9. How good was that, missed the first half s@#t internet watched the second half on a phone but was worth it, can’t fault anybody some massive performances, can’t wait to watch this team on the hallowed turf if that was anything to go off welldone Chris welldone the boys utt

Looking forward to watching us play. We produced some really nice stuff from our one and only friendly. Let's just hope we can start with a win.

Personally looking forward to seeing Hanley Dawson pick up from where he left off and hopefully se Marwood continue his progression. Still no word of what the situation is with Miller?

Good luck! Lads will be bouncing out their skin.

Think Miller has problems with his back, but like arnie he will be back 😷

  11. Got to admit they have had some really nice shirts over the years, and it’s maybe an age thing but I love the retro shirts, the ones with a connection to the past, so all that remains for me to say is (love it)

  12. It’ll be interesting to see how we go against a pretty big forward pack now that we have lost most of our size with Dawson and fui,I guess we are going for more speed and agility with a more mobile pack(I maybe shouldn’t give our game plan away Chris will go mad ) but I’m really looking forward to the game and try not to take too much from the game,as if 😜 utt

Like I said on another thread probably our most important signing, a great fit for the club and obviously the clubs a great fit for Chris, and he’s got a great vision for the club, he’s certainly an attraction for players to Workington town which is great for us fans, welldone les and the board utt
