Who was the plonker who cited Sambou for biting? Can't wait to give him some stick when he comes next week. I feel the whole crowd should make his life miserable for the full game.

If anyone deserves THE BEST BIRTHDAY ever it's you Bill.
Thanks for making watching our team a birthday.

Read somewhere JT is playing on Sunday! Thornley?

What's the latest about JT?

What's KO'R done wrong? Let's hope BQ knows what he is taking on, I'm sure he does. Any reference to Jim Quinn put shudders through my spine. (Hopefully, Batty doesn't get a mention!)

What does it mean having 41 penalty points? He's been banned and paid his fine, surely that must be it.
Any more talk about Henderson?
-
You might not be worried about the attendance , but Bill Quinn and Mike Ford are.

Well back to the bread and butter games now we have got the CC out of the way.
Sadly, yet again the attendance will be low since LB won't bring more than a taxi load. Looking at the games we have had at home, I don't think Batley, York and Barrow brought more than a coach load between them.
Hope I'm wrong and the home spectators turn up, but a lot will depend upon which side SL puts out.

Just curious, does ORLFC get any of the bar and car parking receipts per game?
-
There isn't one in Liverpool!

Last night Thornley went off injured, how bad, does anyone know?
-
Does anybody know what the injury situation is at the club?
JT, Agoro, Astley, Hurst plus others and hopefully none from the HKR mismatch.
-
Sadly if it's true he deserves whatever they throw at him. Hopefully not, he's one player spectators love to see when he is in full flow - everything crossed. It would be interesting to know by whom he was cited.
It's showing how the Barrow game was a disaster.

Just looking at when the subscribers started and from what I can see Bedford Roughyhead started in 2004.
He must have been talking to himself because the next on didn't start until 2006.
Well done Bedford.

Looks like Sneyd is going to Warrington. It would have been nice for him to finish his career at Oldham. Having said that he's 34 and we need to be blooding younger players to cover our older players who are all coming to the end of their careers if we are to stay in the championship or progress to sooperdooperleeg.

in Oldham RLFC
Well as expected SL has brought back all of the big guns for mission impossible.
I only hope we don't get embarrassed and we escape with no injuries. The league is the priority and the dream of Wembley a close second.

Improving attendances won't be a quick fix - it will take time to arouse the interest in the club. Look at Barrow they really don't have any competition from other clubs, have been an established premiership side for may years and could only manage just over 2K with probably over 200 from Oldham.
However, I feel, the town needs to be flooded with advertising coming games, because lots of people haven't a clue when we are playing at home next, that's even Oldham supporters!

Will the YOBS identify themselves as destroyers of a dream - like hell they will - cowards and have no place at our great club.
Bill and co ALL of the fans are with you except for thick Yobs who aren't fit to call themselves an Oldham supporter. If the Yob has the intelligence to read this, just give me your bank details and I'll give you back any money owing to you, just to keep you away from our great club that will only get better - without a Yob like you!

Great display from your lads an d the result was well deserved.
The comments made buy your correspondence are spot on and are being voiced down here.
Well that game has gone and I'm looking forward to when you come down to us for the QF. Also hoping you bring some supporters down so as to create an atmosphere like what we did.

Losing Logan so early on and having to put Wildie at stand-off really messed everything up. No matter how hard Dean tried nothing was coming from the half-backs making it easy for Barrow to defend one man rugby.
I am trying hard not to criticise referees but this guy bottled it when we had a chance to score, when the ball was loose with an Oldham player ready to pick up and score, prevented by one of theirs pulling him back off the ball. It was at least a yellow card.
Why don't referees penalise players who are constantly throwing their arms in the air so challenging the referees decision. In good old days of Clay and Massey it would have been a penalty. Again their number 24 was constantly in the refs ear and nothing was done.
Overall a bad day at the office, lets hope for an injury free game against HKR and then thrash Barrow in the QF of the cup. Then on to Wembley!!!

Very disappointing result. We had enough of the ball near to their try line but didn't have a clue of how to break their line, it was very reminicent of the game against Batley. This I feel will be our biggest problem i.e. breaking the defensive line.
The side put out did their honest best but were second throughout the game.
In the end Barrow deserved the win but what a shame for the couple of hundred Yeds who made the trip.

It was very upsetting, as a true Oldham fan, seeing Bill express his feelings the way he did. Obviously, the YOBS really got to him and Mike.
These YOBS aren't true fans of the club and they need to think about the incredible strides we have made with Bill and co. For Bill to say that " he has made mistakes" his biggest mistake is listening to the YOB element. It would be nice for the YOBS to stand face to face with Bill, or any true fan, to come out with the garbage they came out with. For Bill to respond and to even suggest passing the club onto someone else it fills me with alarm.
Thanks Bill for EVERYTHING you have done for Oldham Rugby League Football Club you are a legend and please see the YOBS for what they are - nobodies.

Fans action group (to improve attendances)

The biggest draw has to be us going to Wembley. Once that has been achieved the crowds will come flooding back.
The Barrow game has to be sold wherever we can. MEN, Oldham Times, OCR, BBC, anywhere to get the game publicised.
