I'm off to Keighley on Saturday as a mate of mine is playing for the 'Rebel Masters'. 2 games for a tenner and all monies going to a fantastic cause, well done Jake Webster.
-
Oh, and Edwin Ipape. (not biased obviously)
-
Thought Ellery might have brought Blake Ferguson in.

I just love it when I'm wrong ! I await the confused reaction from you know who....

Davo5 is confused yet again at one of my posts. How strange.....

Nice of Wigan's 'head of rugby' to give quite a few of their squad a weekend off.

No way this is 50/50 I'd say 70/50. Home advantage full time and playing well.
60-40 then

Looking at the Cas squad, Toulouse should win this by a small margin.

I'd say this game is 50/50, (our) pitch doesn't really benefit us more than the away side and we can't train on it. Obviously there will be more home fans, but it's just who plays best on the day. Stating the obvious I know, but bring it on !

Yep, any local town or area can produce average players.

Junior Sa'u to follow ?

Pies had the luck when Cas were playing okay, now they don't need it (sadly).

Add todays Leigh result to the list of reasons to dislike them. Winning try off the back of a penalty was it ?
No, Luis Roberts intercepted a Barrow pass near our line, and Blakey scored under the sticks. Sammut missed a penalty in the last minute though to level it. Great 2nd half for you guys today, not so for us lot !

Sounds like Leigh are making even heavier weather of winning their game at Barrow, they are only winning 24-16 with 25 minutes left. Can't underestimate how tough it must be in the modern game to have a five-day turnaround following an attritional Cup Final .
22-24 now, sounding quite scary.

I thought 24-16 flattered Fev. before the last try confirmed our dominance. The horrendous conditions in the first match and our new team not gelling explained that loss. Can only see one outcome now with the firm grounds.
I'm not counting any chickens yet....

I doubt any supporters have got got carried away or are too downhearted after yesterday's game. Slightly flattering scoreline for us Leythers, Featherstone could and should have scored more tries, but at the end of the day they didn't. It's 1-1 in the current series between the teams, and roll on game no. 3.

Ye best team won by a mile today. They could have scored more. Their pack completely smashed ours. Too big, strong and quick. It reminded me a bit of when we play the lower teams and our forwards make yards at will.
To be fair you should have scored more than 16 points. A combo of desperate scrambling defence and you passing to a Leigh player (in the 2nd half) prevented this. 2 games played between us both, and (probably) 3 to go.

Peats is superb at passing the ball after a team mate has been tackled.

Has the game been postponed as it's not listed on the BBC Sport RL fixtures ? (imagine that)
