Waste of time now Challenge Cup imo. GONE are the days of an upset and as usual self serving SL don't give a dam.
Is there anything you do actually like in the game?

Fair enough. It does not feel that way at times which is fair enough by the way. I loved Leeds’ 111-0 fortnight
It’s fine we consoled ourselves with the £10m plus sponsorship deal we announced a few weeks after
On a serious note I don’t know any Leeds fan who is pleased about the Bulls misfortune, Id say most of us would like Bradford back as a serious rival playing in a decent ground

You do know what e.g. means don't you?
Either you must consider me thick, or you ................., of course who doesn't know there are multiple pricing factors for admission to sporting venues.
So you know there are multiple price points for entry, how do you expect HMRC to just do a simple calculation?
its moot anyway as there is a much simpler way to check if they are giving false records as people have said, they legally have to give correct attendance figures for H&S reasons.

Is there not a breakdown Griff?
e.g. if the published figure to enter the ground was £20 and 1000 came in that would be £20,000 to pay the appropriate amount of tax on but the club says the attendance was 2000 would the inland revenue not say hold on a minute you have let it be known that you charge £20 entrance fee and said that there was 2000 in attendance so you owe us tax on £40,000?
No, HMRC would just look at the income and tax that, they’re understaffed as it is without them looking at what Bradford Bulls charge for tickets.

Agree 100%, I make this point regularly. We can make any structure appear a success or a failure, it isn't about that.
I actually don’t think IMG think it’s the most important thing either its just what the fans are focused on.

They did have it until about a week and a half ago - I used it when I booked my tickets - then it just disappeared and hasn't been reinstated.
Before it went, Headingley looked to be the best selling of the three. I hope the lack of ground plan (ability to select specific seats) hasn't put too many people off buying.
If the series is one all after the Hudds game I think the Headingley game will be close to a sell out

There are loads of variables but I would imagine the fluctuations are fairly minimal whatever structure weve had in place.
I don’t think the structure is as important as people think with regards to actual attendances or people watching the game.

No an observation Griff, when P&R was reinstated in 2015, Championship attendances steadily increased and have done since, and that is the crux of this discussion now that P&R has all but been abandoned for on field performance will the attendances start to dwindle, there are those who believe that will be the case and I am one of them, indeed after attending all the time it was a closed shop for the Championship teams, I vowed I would not do it again if my team was in there.
What are the average attendances from 2016 onwards?

I didn’t ask what exaggerated meant, but thanks.

Just a quick look
Average Attendances in Championship.
2010. 1771
2022. 1880
now there are other variables to consider but TBH I can’t be bothered looking into too much

Inflated attendances will be common. IMG are not checking the figures posted to the LA, they are relying on 'ad hoc audits' to achieve compliance. Daft.
How do you know what they are are aren’t checking?

I obviously can’t count them but you can compare crowds from a last fixture between clubs with your own eyes, like Harry as said their were loads of empty spaces last licensing period grounds looked mostly empty.
So the figures should be able to confirm that.
As I say im not actually saying if the were higher or lower im just not taking the line of you saw less there as a fact that the average attendances were lower.
-
Just now, Rovers13 said:
We’re you their? No you were watching a SL club and didn’t care just saw numbers in a box.
You must have some special skills to be able to see every crowd in a league and count them.
Your club may have had lower attendances, the whole league might have (I haven’t said otherwise) but there will be the actual figures there
-
Just now, Rovers13 said:
Yes and I don’t care what stats say,
I get it, you don’t like actual facts.

Just now, Rovers13 said:
If you put it like that fair enough but my point was inflated crowds is a benefit at this moment in time.
And if you actually read what people are telling you, they can’t actually inflate the crowds.

Just now, Rovers13 said:
I’ve no idea if they will or not in the top flight, I’d be very surprised if they don’t outside the top flight though.
Did they last time?

Just now, Rovers13 said:
I’m not accusing them of cheating or any other club, I’m saying in a points based system that rewards crowds you would be an idiot not to do it.
You have literally said The Bulls have lied about attendances i.e cheating.
-
2 minutes ago, Rovers13 said:
But the main point I was trying to make Is comparing crowds from franchise to p&r is wrong because one rewards crowds one doesn’t make a difference.
It’s not wrong if your argument is ‘crowds will decrease if there’s no P&R’

Anyone can see it though, and I don’t blame them for doing it or any club, it’s the game you play the game to benefit your own needs.
No, if you are accusing a club of cheating you need to back it up with evidence, your eyes are not that

Just now, Rovers13 said:
My own eyes lol
So as I thought, you haven’t got any evidence.
-
Just now, Rovers13 said:
How? Bulls have done it this year no one as questioned it.
Have they? Wheres the evidence?
-
1 minute ago, Rovers13 said:
Maybe but you would be an idiot in a points system where crowds reward points not to add extra onto the crowds.
No you’d be an idiot to try cheat the system when the real figures would be easily known to those that matter.

Looking from the outside, I would say it is in his remit to do some weird things, I know you were not to impressed with him last year Tommy and I would say that with tge recruitment programme and the money spent if the team does not hit the ground running he will not be there long, the hierarchy and fans will not be accepting of a bedding in period they will want immediate results, me thinks.
There has to be a bedding in period, it would be very difficult for a whole new spine to be at full tilt straight away, however there should be enough quality to be up the top end rather than the bottom end in the opening few rounds.
if were bottom 4 with 10-12 games gone, he will be gone.
