Just an update we (Stoke Staffies) won our first ever game away at NEW Ravens on Saturday 52-36. As you can tell it was a game of 2 great defences but thank you to our hosts for dropping down to 12 when we were hit with injuries.

Yeah - don't get me started on it! Union seems to be a totally different culture!

Part of the Stoke Staffies who play our first ever game on Saturday - support from the RFL has been lacking. Players mainly union with a handful of league players who have moved to Stoke for various reasons. Our team manager has done a great job of getting sponsors - major struggle from RU as players wont train at another RU clubs grounds

The Midlands Merit mate , we are in a similar boat to the other midlands teams where we rely heavy on union players. Their season only finished last week so we should start seeing more down. playing our home games out of Newcastle Staffs RU if anyone every fancies coming along

I play for them - it was originally 9s then changed to 13 a side as no other teams entered, by the time we'd found out too many lads had made plans as it was a bank holiday. Got 23 registered and 15 at training last night.
